Early career While growing up in La gavotte Peyret, Nasri grew an attraction to the sport of football at a young age. While playing with Pennes, Nasri was discovered by Freddy Assolen who Marseille Scouts Had been informed of the player's talent through local word of mouth. Nasri was born in the town of La gavotte Peyret in Septèmes-les-Vallons, a northern suburb in the city of Marseille, to French nationals of Algerian descent.
